I am a luthier based in the Hampshire village of Hamble. I have been setting up, repairing and restoring violins, violas and cellos for those in the violin trade and wider playing public since 1990.

I have known Mike Edwards since 1990. I cannot recommend him too highly, whether it be for restoration, set ups or repairs.
He is concientious, trustworthy and will always do his best for you. From a straightforward set up to a tasteful varnish repair. Mike is one of the best. I use Mike for my restorations whenever I can, as I did when I was running Morris and Smith and J. & A. Beare.
